I like this shirt because it's long sleeved yet cool enough for wearing on hot days. I sunburn easy and like to get out and walk and hike but short and sleeveless tops are a problem for me. This shirt works great. One draw back is I hate to iron, even touch ups. And this shirt to looks nice needs light ironing.
Though I asked for all measurements prior to ordering, this shirt was very small, perhaps even by a full size. The fabric was dull in appearance and it was coarse and itchy. It was certainly not up to LL Bean standards. It was returned.
The buttons stay in place. Even though I have CMC arthritis of hands, they aren't difficult to use unlike the experience of other reviewers. Perhaps the rubberized buttons will tend to stay put when stress from back packs is applied to the shirt. The green color is blue green and looks good on someone who can not wear yellow or yellowish greens. Have used it once hiking in and out of the sun and didn't get sunburned. I am very active and plan to use this on mountain hikes. As a short 5'2" person who wishes she was thinner, I had to buy a large. It fits well through the chest. The sleeves could be shorter, so please LlBean, offer petite sizes in this shirt.
I ordered this in an XL to enable using it as an overshirt/jacket. This shirt is cut small and wouldn't function as needed, even with a tank under it. It is well made and sturdy, however. Sadly, I had to return.
