This lightweight shirt is handy over so many long or short-sleeve Tees. It's machine wash/dry and looks great out of the dryer. I have it in light pink and blue.
I purchased one of these, and am now coming back for more in other colors. I'm petite, so I liked the fitted shape which was just right in XS. The sleeves are long and cover my hands, but that's a good feature for me when hiking since I'm so sun sensitive. The quality is excellent, and the pockets and features are perfect. The shirt is cool enough to wear even when hiking or kayaking on really hot days.
These shirts are comfortable in heat, humidity, or cool weather, dry fast, don't hold onto most stains, block the sun well, and they just wear like iron. I wear them almost everyday, 3 seasons of the year.
I'm 5'4", 118lbs., 34B chest. I have worn 3 sizes of this shirt - Large, for a time when I gained weight after an injury, I went up to about 155lbs. At that weight the shirt fit perfectly but I couldn't layer a shirt under it comfortably.
Medium, my normal size, which fits me slightly loose, and is perfect across the back and shoulders when I'm active, no tightness, and which I can layer a t-shirt fine.
Small, which fits me overall, not tight until I reach with my arms all the way forward at the same time, then a little tight across back and shoulders. I wear that size for when I won't be active and want a trimmer fit.
The sleeve length was good on all the shirts I bought. None of the shirts shrank, even after several wash/dry cycles.
If LL Bean changes these shirts, I'll be very unhappy!
