This shirt is very comfortable and lightweight and it did exactly what I had bought it to do. The sleeves rolled down were great for the cool morning we just had and then as the day warmed I rolled them up using the tabs. And then when it got even warmer, I just unbuttoned the the shirt and used it as a big shirt with a tank underneath. And what was even better - hand washing in the sink and then towel wrapping was enough to allow it to dry overnight. Perfect.
This shirt is not only practical, it's comfortable and easy to care for. I ordered the blue and turquoise colors, now I wish I had ordered the pink. The extra small fit perfectly, true to size.
I purchased the shirt as a sun cover when kayaking. A nice sunny summer day in Wisconsin tends to be humid. My previous Bean shirt had open netting, maybe 3 inches, running full length down the side seams which cooled fairly well. This model is probably dandy in arid country and as a light overshirt cover but is not a friend in hot, humid weather (which I assume is common in the tropics).
