keeps you cool hiking; nice enough to wear to a casual dinner. fits snugly,though, for us broad shouldered ladies. not a loose fitting shirt even it is for casual wear. but, if you are aware of that, it is a good shirt for summer outdoor events.
Love my new blue shirt, I lost my other one camping and this one is a new improved replacement. The cut is more flattering, and just as comfortable. It is my go to shirt for any hot weather. I can dress it up or down, wear it to church or kayaking. Wish I could afford every color. I will collect a new one or two every year! They last for years !
It's comfortable, but not very attractive. I wanted a shirt I could wear in hot weather to keep sun off - it will work for that. Very casual/sporty appearance. I wish they had it in prettier colors.
Having recently been diagnosed with cutaneous lupis, I need to be careful about sun exposure. I thought this was the perfect shirt for me for sun protection. The fabric is very light weight and the color was fine. Big disappointment at the sizing. I ordered the XL and I find it snug around my hips. I had to return it and was very disappointed to find that no shirts are made for Plus size women. It was suggested that I buy a men's large and that should fit. People have commented on the chest pockets - on the men's shirt, the pocket is on the outside rather than the inside. THAT kind of attention I don't need. I think LLBean needs to address UV sun protection apparel for the larger women. They like to go out in the sun, too. That is the reason for the low rating.
