These L. L. Bean tropicwear shirts have been essential to my wardrobe for a number of years, chiefly for their sunscreen value. I have raved about these shirts for years. The changes to this year's model have some serious drawbacks. It is not an easy-care model. In addition to the wrinkling problem, this item has been sewn with stitching that is too tight and there is a lot of puckering on the seams. It's updated construction makes it most difficult to press, unlike my older ones.
A long sleeved shirt was ordered. A short sleeved shirt was sent. Tried it even though it wasn't correct item, and although it was the size ordered, it was quite abit too small. When out in the field, a fitted shirt isn't great, especially in the hot summer. Item was returned.
The tropicwear shirt has changed! Fabric is different, as is the styling. New one is 2 inches longer, in the same size. I'm missing the the other one. Please bring it back.
