I just wore this shirt yesterday to my son's track meet. It was perfect to avoid sun exposure on an 80 degree and humid day. Very cool with the mesh vents in the back. I like that it is tailored so it does not look sloppy. I am 5'4" and 120 lbs with a small bustline and the XS size fits me perfectly. Would recommend this to anyone who needs to avoid sun exposure and also needs to be outside quite a bit. Love it!!!
It took me a while to work up to paying full price for this shirt, but I'm glad I did. The fabric is much nicer than I expected, and doesn't have the plastic-like feel of many other shirts of this type. We are leaving in June for two years in Tanzania, and I expect to wear it there frequently.
As a long-distance self-contained touring cyclist, I'm out in the sun all day long for weeks at a time. I need sun protection in an attractive shirt that covers my arms and neck and is easy to care for. I discovered this shirt many years ago and now have five. They last forever; I still have and wear my first one, but occasionally one needs a change-up in colors. Hence five.
I love these shirts. However, I wanted a BLUE shirt, not a grey shirt with blue tones. I returned it. Maybe next year Bean will have a tan and a true blue color again for this shirt.
