ProsDurable, Comfortable, well ventilated, great colors
These are fantastic shirts in gorgeous colors; if you are an "average" size and in the market for sun protection, don't hesitate. Sadly for me, nothing fit. I'm 5'2" and 150 lbs, not huge, but thick in the middle and broad backed. The XL fit well though the chest and back but because it is nipped-in in the waist, it was too small for me around the middle. Since I was looking for something to protect me from sun and bugs it had to fit buttoned up. Nuts! Wish they had Womens and Petites in these "outdoor" items; we not slim gals do get out 'n about too!
I have several ll beans ladies shirts in an extra large and they fit fine. I was hoping that this x large would fit but it seem to run small. I was going on a trip to AZ and wanted a sun shirt to wear on hot days. Do they not make them in women's sizes? 1x or 2x? Or does bean just not have them. What about all these stories about Americans getting larger and they are not making clothes larger to fit the "bigger American"?
Love everything about this shirt other than the sizing. Ordered the large (not found in extra-large) and it fits but would have liked it to be a bit longer, and a bit fuller in the hips.
