I just purchased this shirt since I have an older version from LL Bean that I love and use all the time. The fabric is GREAT and dries quickly while protecting me from the sun. I read the previous reviews and hoped that this would fit me in the hip area, which is does but too perfectly. Since I wear this shirt over summer shirts, shorts or bathing suits in hot weather to shield me from the sun, I prefer to have it a loose fit. I normally take a medium shirt and sometimes a small, but I need to return it for a large to see if that size fits me better. I am not thrilled with the colors offered for this shirt either. A NICE patterned one or more pleasant colors would be appreciated since I decided that white was my only option since I already had the pale green one. The other colors are pretty dull and the Bright Citrus is too loud. Please bring back the women's shirt that is NOT fitted at the hip for this one! Possibly a collarless one would make it look less like a man's shirt, too.
I like these breathable shirts. The storage pockets are cleverly designed. I did not give this shirt 5 stars because I ordered 2 of them and the sizing of each was slightly different.
women's tropicwear shirt is wonderful! It washes well, I just shake and hang to dry, no wrinkles. It is great for lightweight & cool sun protection. True to size also, I love it.
I have several versions of this shirt and they are comfortable, versatile, and great for travel. My only complaint is THE BUTTONS. They are made out of some kind of rubber(?) and difficult to button/unbutton. Please change back to plain old plastic.
