I'm mostly happy with this shirt. I do wish it had a more feminine look so I could wear it more places. I doubt many women use a chest pocket and these make the shirt look more like a man's. Also, the inner top of the pocket irritates my skin and I have to wear a tank under it.
When I ordered this shirt, I thought, "How could a long sleeve shirt be cool in the sun?" I wore it to Hawaii and it was great. It dries quickly and protected my very pale skin and was not hot. Great to wear over a swimsuit also.
Ever since I received about 5 of these blouses a month ago I wear one each day as a jacket over a sleeveless top. I love the pink color the best but also alternate with the other colors. I love the fabric, it is feather light, doesn't wrinkle, and is much cooler than cotton. Of course when it is 85 degrees and I am wearing long sleeves and the neck is closed, it is hot, but still, not as hot as other fabrics would be. I can fold it in my bag when I am indoors, and when I take it out hours later it is not wrinkled. I forgot it in the bag overnight and it was fine the next morning. I am a petite size 4 and the XS regular fits me well, except the sleeves are about 2" too long and I roll the cuff up once and then they are ok. The shoulders in the back are a little wide, but it is acceptable. Except for clothing I make myself or knits, everything is too big in my shoulders in the back.
I like this shirt a lot but decided to return it because it's too short for me. I ordered a woman's medium. I'm 5'8" and 130 pounds with long arms and the sleeves are too short. They just make my wrists, but when I stretch out, they are clearly too short. The torso length is not flattering, it's straight across at the hips, a bit short too. I'm going to return it and get a men's medium or small instead as it will give me the torso and arm length I need. If you want to wear this as a cover up, or just need room to move around comfortably, I would order a size up, or get the men's.
