ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, exceptional stitching, high quality
I am very particular in the type of hat that I wear, usually finding the perfect one and holding on to it for years until it falls off my head into a heap of tattered cloth. This one is no exception, it fit me perfectly out of the bag, No adjustments needed. I also love the austere simplicity of it. A beautiful dusty olive and small, dark lettering which is not ostentatious. I also love the fish on the side, very nice touch and the stitching seems exceptional. Why buy a much more expensive hat elsewhere when this is all you will need.
This cap appears to be well made, and it is comfortable even on a large head. The adjustable strap is the same color as the hat, and it is easy to make adjustments. I would prefer a wider choice of colors. Also, the design and inscription under the visor is a mild distraction. A good cap for a good price.
ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, a must have
I previously purchased one of these hats (dark green) about a year ago, and I loved it. The quality, appearance, and perfect suitability for fishing, and a host of other activities was outstanding. About three weeks ago, I decided to wear the hat to a meeting, and as luck (bad) would have it, I took the hat off during the meeting, set it aside, and forgot to pick it up and put it back on before I left the meeting room. I did not miss the hat until after I arrived at home, which was also after normal business hours. I promptly called for the hat the following day; however, a search for it turned up nothing. Apparently some less than throughly honest being found the hat, and decided to keep it.
That led me to seek out a new one. In the process, I not only bought another dark green hat, but also realoized I like the khaki hat and purchased one of those, too.
No more taking off my hat in places where I might forget to pick it up and put it back on!
I originally bought this hat for my wife as she stole a hat from me years ago and it was looking pretty dingy. Well I stole it from her now and this is a great hat. I am outdoors a lot and this hat is holding up well. The color has remained but I have no doubt it will fade with time. When the hat gets a little to "Fresh" I simply hose it off and put it back on my head to dry, keeps me cool and the hat keeps its shape.
