Great gift for great teacher? Yes! But don't order the monogram because it doesn't really show up on the madras plaid. I bought 4 of these and filled them with treats for christmas. I really like the size (medium) and the look. Super sturdy, but a little hard to wash if you are a coffee spiller like me. Bags are never quite the same after a wash. Love this!
I have been collecting all kinds of Bean totes for years, but the medium size is the most useful for me. I am a teacher and use them to carry my things to school. They will hold my lunch bag and a few books, with room to squeeze in a few other incidentals. I ordered the pink madras in medium for my one-year-old granddaugher, and it is so cute and well-made. I thought it would be a pretty and useful "gift bag" for the books I bought for her for Christmas, and I purchased it as a daily special so the price was right. I had it monogrammed with her first name, and the stitching was done in the same candy pink as the bag's bottom and handles. While my granddaughter is too young to carry this as a tote, it is a nice storage place for books until she gets older. I'm sure that she will find many uses for it in the years to come. The pink madras is a nice choice for a young girl, but it would also be pretty for us older girls, too. I may just order a second one for myself!
I bought this (medium) bag in spice a few months ago and have been waiting for it to appear again on the sale page. The bag I have is perfect for so many things--farmers market, work, and knitting!!! I am happy to see it in blue. It would be a great Christmas gift, but I don't think I'lll be giving it up!
I've had my tote for about a year and I love it. It's perfect for weekend trips to hold stuff you want easy access to and its been to the beach and mountains. Looks good and very sturdy. I am really considering buying another one on this great 2 A Day Sale.
