Love the tote and the patch work pattern. I ordred the pink color for a friend recently diagnosed with breast cancer. Filled it with alot of goodies so it could be taken to the hospital.
I found this bag in size small at the Freeport store, and a shopper had a large bag monogrammed with her name and I thought what a nice looking practical bag. But, they were sold out! I was very pleased when I saw this on the website again this year, so I decided to order the pink madras with my name monogrammed in pink. It is cute, strongly sewn together, and I know will provide me years of shopping bag fashion. Especially since I don't use plastic at the stores. I ordered the pink madras tote for my work things and it is awesome! So cute and summery. The one thing I wish is that it came with the longer handles so I could put it over my shoulders.
I have a boat & tote I purchased about 10 years ago that is still in great shape and used every day. I love how I can jam way more stuff into it than you'd ever think possible. However, I am disappointed that the canvas on this new tote seams less thick/sturdy than my old tote.
