love the plaid design, same reliable quality all llbean items have. I will be returning this item however. I wanted to use it on a daily basis for running errands, etc. but this bag is just to big for me. Great bag for beach or daytrip needs to have a zipper. Wish it was just a little smaller and the mini is to small.
I have been using the same boat tote from LL Bean for years as a book bag. I purchased the Madras tote for spring and absolutely love it! I carries my lesson plans, teacher editions and papers that I need to grade. It is very roomy and I fill it to maximum capacity. The only thing I miss is the small pocket on the front of the bag for pens and post-it notes.
This is a great bag, I am quite pleased with it. It is big and roomy and can hold a good bit of things. It is good quality and I know that it will last.
The only thing I wish is that the straps were just a few inches longer!
