I love this bag, however I would love to throw it over my shoulder - can'd do it with the short handle. It would be very nice to have the long handle option.
It is very pretty--just like the picture. I wish I had ordered the larger bag, now that I have this one. Also, it is a little heavier than I expected. All in all, it is a good buy.
the handles are way too short. I cannot put them over my shoulder and I used canvas totes as school bags and to carry back and forth to work. LL Bean should make the long handles for all their totes! I have to return this but am so sad; I love the madras.
Bought this bag simply for it looks but it is so much more. Looks GREAT and it is well made with quality canvas lining Bag sits up and doesn't flop over for easy packing. Only down side is that it could use a zipper. Highly recommend this bag in fact I am going to buy another one for a gift.
