I've never had a bino harness before but wanted to get one for my binoculars when hunting. These were priced lower than most others I could find. They are simple and work great. I read a good tip from other reviewers: using a zip tie instead of the included rings was MUCH easier and worked just as well. I would definitely recommend this harness. It's a bargain.
We received one of these harnesses as a gift from our kids & liked it so much that we bought another one for our other set of binoculars and also one for my sister and brother-in-law who will be going to Alaska soon. The strap is designed very well, eliminates bouncing and pressure on your shoulders/neck that happens with other types of straps. The price is great too, much less than other places that we looked.
On my first birding trip I noticed many people wearing these and didn't understand the need since the strap on my binoculars was wide and comfortable. Then I realized that any strap becomes sweaty on a hot day and the binoculars feel heavier as the day goes on. I ordered this harness because it was very reasonably priced. I used it for the first time last week and really loved it. Not only did it take all the pressure off my neck, but it also allowed my hands to be free when I wasn't using the binoculars. That came in handy when I had my puppy with me! I haven't used any other harness so I can't say how it compares to the ones that cost twice or three times as much but I know for sure it beats a neck strap! I would recommend this to anyone who plans to be out and about with binoculars.
