Very good quality belt. Nice details on it and would recommend to anyone. It is hard finding a belt to fit my husband and on LLBean it was not a problem.
I needed a new belt for my jeans, my previous one was the L.L. Bean Bison belt which is no longer available, so I went with this one as I like the Bison leather. I am a size 40 and the belt fits fine. I use the second notch for an at-the-waist placement. The belt works as advertised, I have never had a "wardrobe malfunction" while wearing it. The shotgun logo goes more with jeans than say dress chinos but it works with those also.
Not only does this belt look good, but it fits great! Sizing is true. Just like any other pure leather belt, it needs some usage to loosen up a bit but what a belt once you break it in. I struggled to actually spend this kind of money on a belt as I have only bought cheapies in the past, but this is a forever purchase!
