I have purchased many of these for my family and friends. You get the stainless steel bottle with the convenience of a pop up cap to drink. Add the cozy and you keep the condensation from the cold bottle away from your hands. Very pleased with it.
I was tired of seeing green film growing in the bottom of my plastic bottle and having to periodically use bleach to clean it. This bottle dries immediately after use (and I use it everyday to take water to my office) and is washable with a little soap and water. Although it is not insulated it keeps my initially cold water cold throughout the day. Should be perfect for hiking as well.
purchased this canteen as a gift for my 12 year old daughter. The price was comparable to big chain stores, but the quality seems to be better. We specifically like the sport top, this feature is hard to find. We could not find any info on getting it monogramed, though some photos showed it monogramed. She is happy with it, she requested orange. others do not offer it in orange.
