Handsome product in stainless steel with block lettering initials was purchased as a gift for a working professional. Sadly, the bottle will be unsuitable for use in the office due to the unavoidable slurping noises that it makes when you drink from it. Additionaly, it tends to leak from the screw on lid. Honestly LLBean, this product is not up to your usual impeccable standards, and you may want to return unsold items to your manufacturer to be adapted.
What the picture does not show is the LLBean name is in a very large font that looks good on the canteen. If you have it engraved, the font is much smaller, not as bold, and sits above the manufacturer's logo. I demanded reimbursment of the $6, which LLBean did oblige. Disappointed by the customization, but canteen by itself ooks good.
I hate the idea of buying bottled water, drinking out of plastic, and contributing more trash to our landfill. This bottle is the perfect way to carry filtered water from home. It is light weight, does not leak, and does change the taste of the water. I have used it for other beverages, as well, and it does not retain flavors.
I purchased water bottles for my son's day care teachers. He helped pick them out. I had them engraved. I thought it was a practical, inexpensive gift for this audience.
