We use these instead of sippy cups in our house. The stainless steel is easy for little hands and has no BPA, pthalates, etc. Also great for the gym, hiking, etc
We have a couple of these water bottles, all sports caps, various size vessels. I purchased a brand new one to replace my son's (it was over two years old). Since Kleen Kanteen had the recall of their caps, the new caps just don't seem right. They make a horrible whistling, crying type of sound when drinking from them (not good in the classroom!). They also have a tendency to leak from the drinking spout. The cap that is covering the spout is difficult to take off and when putting on, you really have to make sure it snaps. Overall, this new bottle (mainly the cap) is not that great. I haven't returned it yet, but I'm thinking I will. Hopefully the new cap will be better.
The water bottle is very nice, but the engraving of the name for an extra $6 is not worth the money. The letters were very tiny (like 1/2 inch tall) on the side of the bottle and you don't even notice it.
