Bought this for my daughter to use at school figuring it was a good quality product. It leaked all over her lunch box. It should say in the product description that it needs to be kept upright because it will leak.
Hey, this is a great bottle. The kids don't forget to bring it to soccer since I had their names put on. The inside is easy to clean and of high quality stainless, not like some cheaper imports. I like the durable spout, the threads are strong, and we have one we have used for years. Just watch that if you put the top in the dishwasher, the silicone plug for the breather hole doesn't get lost.
I was disapointed that my daughters name that I paid extra to have on the canteen was WAY smaller that the LL Bean logo. I didn't realize their logo was going to be on there. The writing was very hard to read also. :(
P.S. The LL Bean logo on the FRONT of the canteen was twice the size of my daughters name on the back with additional writing from their company.
