This item is nice looking, and the water tastes good. I love that I can put it in the dishwasher. However I can't use it in public because every time I take a drink it squeaks! I sound like a dolphin, and my husband has started calling me Flipper.
we had tried 3 other canteens that we had bought in other places and they all leaked or had their caps broken within a few weeks of purchase. The LLBean canteen has been serving great! No leaks, easy to use for a child, no bad odor from plastic top, perfect size. Engraving gives it a nice personal touch. Highly recommend!
I like this canteen for its size, weight, and convenience. I can use it everywhere. Previous comments talk about the squeeking noise in the mouth piece. You'll see a small plastic tip that pushes out. I simply pushed that down and the squeek stopped. I would gladly buy more of these.
