At first I really liked my canteen. It held a lot of water, no bad taste, and with the help of the cozy, kept cool a long time. However, the squeak-while-you-sip feature is highly irritating. And what's more, it leaks! It was not so bad at first, but then there was a product safety recall, and I was sent a new cap. The new cap is even worse! I like the sport-top, but this canteen is a failure, as the H2O won't stay inside.
In order to capitalize on my son's excitement of starting kindergarten, I bought a matching red critter knapsack, lunch bag and water bottle.My five year old is enthralled with his set up. Here in Fla, students are encouraged to keep a water bottle on their desk during the day, to sip during class time, as long as it is reusable and sealable. Also, I appreciate being able to engrave his name on it to avoid mixups and keep sanitary. Great product!
My first one of these leaked through the sipping cap, so I sent it back and got a new one. This one also leaks. I am ready to send this back too. I am so disappointed. And yes, it also squeaks and people notice when I am drinking from it.
