Ordered 2 of these bottles, one arrived without the plastic attachment that covers the drinking spout when it's closed. Also, there should be instructions describing how to use the little white button, as evidenced by the number of reviewers complaining about the whistling noise. The first time I tried to use the button, I pressed down on it too hard and it fell into the liquid inside the bottle.
this canteen is solid, good quality, and stainless steel. Drinking out of the spout is the most convenient and easiest to use. It fits nicely into my cup holder in the car as well. Having my name engraved makes it personal and doesn't get mixed up with others' canteens.
This canteen has been well used! It is very handy and great for my son's ball games. I gave it 3 stars because after only having 1 year a large portion of the paint started coming off. LLBean was quick to send me a new one, even letting me pick a different color. 5 stars to LLBean for their return policy. I will always continue to do business with this company.
Love my Bean Canteen for working out or just around the house. The cozy fits nicely and keeps the canteen dry and no sweating. My only complaints are the whistling when drinking from the bottle, and the drinking spout is a little tough to open at first and does not snap shut. I thought maybe I needed to remove the silicone bead on top but then it just leaked so put it back in. As I put it on my night stand and my husband gets up super early, not too happy that it makes so much noise when drinking out of it. Anybody know a remedy to this?? None the less, still love it!!
