Although the vent in the sport top lid of this item makes it easy to drink from, laying the bottle on its side or upside down will cause the top to leak a drop of liquid every 2-3 seconds regardless of how tightly the pull-top is pressed back down.
Love Clean Kanteens. Ordered one as a gift with monogram. Love that it can be put in dishwasher and that it's cutting down on plastic bottles. Would recommend.
I bought two Bean Canteens for my children with engraving the names. My children loved them and have been bringing them to all their sporting games. When they bring fast, it is a bit noisy but that does not bother them at all. They are great bottles. I was looking for the 12oz but LLBean does not carry them.
