These are the right kanteens! Not too big; with a great easy to use top that can be deployed on the run. I looked for a long time for the right size and ease of use L.L. Bean got it right!
This canteen is great for taking along in the car or to the gym. I love that ice cubes fit in the top to keep drinks cold much longer. Fits in car cup holder very well.
These canteens are perfect for a family on the go. Whether it is for the trail ride, the soccer game or just travelling in the car, these canteens are perfect. Water stays cold; they fit in the cup holders; the cap keeps them clean; and yes! they go in the dishwasher for sanitation after a campout.
I highly recommend using them with the cozy because they do dent if dropped (ah, the science experiments of a 7-year-old!).
This is a great looking bottle, and very pleasant to drink from except for THE NOISE. It's sort of a honking sound, and not at all the thing if you work in a public setting, which I do. I've figured out various ways to moderate the sound, but it won't go away completely. If recommending this to a friend I would have to say great for car travel or keeping in your private office, but if you're around other people, forget it. I also noticed thecap slipped and it leaked a bit the last time I brought it home to wash it, so frankly, I think it's time to go back to the drawing board on this one.
