I bought this water bottle to: a) cut down on plastic bottle production, and b) to drink water that is not contaminated by plastic. I wasn't prepared for how much I just love this bottle--I take it in the car and on walks. I've given this to multiple friends and kin as a gift and everyone loves it. Fun colors and SO easy to drink from with a cap you don't have to screw off first! It keeps water cold for quite a while.
I first bought the bigger size (27 oz) and while that may be good for a long hike if you can stow it, I found the 18 oz. version a nice weight to carry and more convenient--I bump my arm on the bigger one when it's in the cup holder between the front seats.
I bought 7 of these bottles, 5 of which I had engraved for Christmas gifts. The engraving was very large and well done and looked great. Can't imagine why anyone would complain about the engraving. These water bottles were a big hit with my son and his family. My husband and I each have one of these bottles and the water always tastes good. We like them because we can add crushed ice if we need to. Everyone should have at least one of these water bottles!
I bought this because I wanted to quit using plastic bottles. This canteen is great and it keeps water cool even if you don't keep it in the refrigerator.
Absolutely Love it! There is no metal taste. It's easy to use, easy to clean. I drink lots of water , and I'm always on the go. I try to avoid plastic bottled water to help the environment and to reduce plastic contamination in my food and drinks. This is the perfect drink container.
