Simply the best water bottle on the market. Ability to add ice cubes a real plus. Stainless Steel the best possible construction. No worry about plastic or aluminum leach. Only minor negative the vent system is noisy, not enough air allowed in. Even with insulated cozy the spout froze up at 20 degree walk in woods so could not drink. Suggest place under a jacket to keep warm in winter or just get screw cap and not sport top. Also thought engraving would be free with ll bean card but is not. Probably not worth money for small engraving.
I purchased the canteen for a gift. The person receiving it reused water bottles and needed an alternative. There isn't another on the market that I could find with the same features. The person who received it loves it.
