I thought that it would be easier to drink from. The contents don't flow easily, and you get the taste of the plastic cover. Didn't want the hassle of packing and returning them, so we don't even use them (2).
Now that my name is on my bottle, it's mine! Good quality--only complaint is that it makes a squeaking noise when you drink unless you adjust the tightness of the seal.
I like this canteen very much, it is easy to drink from this item. I've been wanting one for some time, glad I finally got around to ordering it and I recommend it to all! I'm thinking of ordering another in a different color.
