The canteen was cute, but the engraving - the most important part and the reason I chose to shop LLBean - was way too small, especially when compared to the LLBean logo on the other side. I will still give it as a gift like I planned, but I have to admit that I was disappointed with the size of the engraving.
I am so glad I read the reviews. I wanted it personalized but read the reviews on how the canteen sweats and that you need the cozie to help. Well I did and it is great the cozie would have covered up the personized part. I have already purchased name tags that can be attached to the cozie. Thank you again for your great products.
I ordered 2 for stocking stuffers; the red one looks great and the engraving is really nice and easy to read. On the stainless version, you can't even see the engraving because it's tone-on-tone, plus the font size was smaller. One's going back, and other I'll keep. Maybe a footnote mentioning to the customer that engraving won't show up on stainless would be helpful.
