This bottle, although similiar to other brands, stands out by its convenient top. I have had those that unscrew and find this to be a wonderful improvement.
I purchased this to replace a screw top canteen that was a pain to use quickly. I sing in a choir and have to catch quick sips when I can. The LL Bean canteen is a nice quality, is very easy to sip from and easy to fill with room for ice. If you don't want cold hands, purchase a cover for it. It does make a funny squeaking noise when you sip from it...the person next to me in choir giggled and thought it sounded like a chipmunk! Noise aside...I love it! I also have purchased these for my nieces and nephews for Christmas.
