I bought this for my husband who needed to take water to work. He likes it, especially the vented nozzle that allows for easy drinking. You can also take off the top and drink it that way. Keeps the water tasting clean. I couldn't give this product 5 stars because it's not made in USA.
We have the 18 oz. and the 27 oz. Both work great and leave the water tasting like water not plastic. The 27 oz doesn't fit in our water bottle drawer but there are times when you want the bigger size. They do make some noise but not that bad. Dishwasher safe. Decent price for the type of product. Like the sip top better than the cap. Although we have 20 + water bottles, these are the first my kids and I grab.
I bought this item as a gift for my father to try to get him to drink more water during the day. The canteen itself is very nice and study. But, I was very disappointed in the monogram. Although I am an LL Bean credit card holder, I still had to pay for the monogram becasue they consider it to be an "engraving." The engraving is tiny (smaller than the LL Bean logo) and it is not etched into the canteen as I would have expected an engraving to be. It was not worth the extra money.
