A stainless steel canteen sounded like a good idea but it's difficult to get the water out without shaking it violently. The sides of plastic water bottles can be squeezed to get the water out. That doesn't work on stainless steel, so I expected the water to flow out more easily. It doesn't. It just drips out slowly.
This revamped sport cap is wonderful! The water flow is much improved and the loop to the side means I can cilp it to my bag or belt without fear of having it drop off along the trail. I would heartily recommend this! The bottle is great, water tastes fresh and clean and I drink more. I would recommend a cozy for it, metal sweats.
