I was given this as a gift by someone who had my name on it as well. Looked great. BUT the opening is too big and I have to be exceptionally careful not to spill on myself while drinking. Impossible in the car or a moving vehicle. I have many T shirts whose front got completely wet while trying to drink. I would prefer a smaller opening. The only thing i like is that I can put ice in it because of the wide opening but forget drinking without a straw!!!
This is (or would be) a very nice canteen if the paint did not peel off. After only having it for a couple months, it looks all chipped up just from normal use. We never dropped it or damaged it in any way. This chipping is just the poor quality paint over the metal that peels off after a while. We would not order one of these again, as it was not worth the high price.
Purchased this for my daughter for all her sports. We love the wide mouth. This feature makes it wonderful for cleaning inside. The other nice feature is it is easy to fill with ice cubes.
