Everyone that I got this for at christmas just loved it. nice wide top to put ice in it big size so u don't have to refill as often. What's not to love.
I bought two Canteens for my husband and I as part of our Christmas gifts. The canteen is great due to the 40 oz capacity, but it's really hard to unscrew. I have tried to leave it a little bit loose but then water spills inside my bag.... I wish they could thought of a smoother way to cap/uncap the bottle. I am usually satisfied with LLBean quality - specially winter coats, but this item did not meet my expectations.
The wide mouth stainless canteens are nice, however I was disappointed upon taking them out of the box to note that each one had a small dent in them. Paying what I did for them there should have been no dents!
I had these engraved and gave them as holiday gifts to my daughter's daycare teachers. They were a huge hit! The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is that I don't have one to tell you how they perform.
