This is my first GPS. The touchscreen is GREAT. I can move the map to see the upcoming route. I like the fact it can Bluetooth pair with my cell phone! I also like the real time traffic option. The clamp to dash is wonderful too. I find that it sometimes tells me directions at the last minute. Other than that, I love it!
Touch screen does not work in certain areas of the screen. I sometimes go back to my old GPS just to get around. It is obviously not going to help you if you can't type in your destination. It also cannot find obvious destinations my other 4 year old gps which I have never upgraded, finds in no time. Wish I had bought something else. I gave it a one star, only because i had too.
This Garmin is thin and small enough to carry around in a purse. It is great for navigation while I am walking around the city. The roads are easily visible on the screen and the spoken road directions are clear. One option that I did not expect was that I could bluetooth it to my phone and then speak on my phone through the GPS speakers. This is very convenient!
