when i received it, there were a few areas where the stitching was coming out or missing. The overall stitching was spaced far apart, and the quality of the quilt was comparable to that which I'd buy at a local department store. The fabric wasn't anything special- not particularly soft or sturdy. It's a super beautiful print and I absolutely loved it; wanted it to work so badly. Unfortunately, it was returned.
I have wanted this quilt since it was featured on one of the mail order catalogue covers maybe a year ago. My daughter and family bought it for me as a surprise gift for Christmas. Like others have said, it really is much more beautiful in person. The colors are a bit brighter then the photos show. I am calling it my "happy" quilt because it makes me smile, it is so cheerful to look at everytime I walk into my bedroom. The workmanship is good and I am very pleased with this purchase.
Con: My only complaint is that it is a much lighter weight quilt then others I have bought from other companies
This is a beautiful pattern with lovely colors. I was a bit disappointed with the workmanship on a few of the ones I purchased. Several of them had areas of missing stitches or loose fabric that showed the batting. LL Bean is always great with returns, but I would have liked to have found several nice ones for gifts. The ones I purchased for myself and my daughter are nice and have no defects. I wish the quality and workmanship was more consistent. I really like LL Bean and have many of their lovely Quilts from years of purchasing.
