It is rare these days that a product meets, let alone exceeds your expectations. This quilt does! It is beautifully made, and the rich colors brighten any room. It has charm, elegance and has been admired by all who have seen it. Made the master bedroom a showcase.
I bought this quilt based on the photo which looked like a white background. It has no white in it. The background is dark tan and cannot be used with a white bedskirt. I am sending it back and was assured that I would not be charged shipping.
I just received my new quilt & shams. The picture does not do this quilt justice......it is far more beautiful, more vibrant, without being overpowering. I have purchased many of LL Bean's quilt sets, this one is by far the prettiest. LL Bean's customer service is the best.
Very pleased w/ this purchase. Was worried about size, but love the way it fits on my king--drapes to bottom mattress on sides/bottom. Still, needs a skirt, and the white in the picture is actually "natural"--very attractive but would look horrible with a white bedskirt. I'm about to order the shams--such a lovely pattern, really warms up our b'room. Not too heavy for cold nights but it's perfect on top of a down comforter.
All in all, great buy after looking at a LOT of quilts/blankets/comforters.
