the only flaw is that the back piece we received did not fit, it was too wide and thus the screw holes were all in the wrong place. We are using it without the back, which is fine for now, my husband is going to cut pieces from the back to put in back of the cabinets, the shelves are fine, even preferred, without a back. also I agree the cabintes could use some kind of latch, we will probably add some magnetic ones. considering the lack of latches and a back that does not fit, some kind of credit or adjustment should be made.
I recently purchased a console to use with my TV. I was extremely disapointed with the quality of this product. I discovered several pieces were broken when I attempted to assemble. The quality of the wood in this product is of poor quality. This is the second wooden product of poor quality I have purchased from LL Bean in the past couple years (adarondack chairs). I will not purchase wooden products from LL Bean in the future. I was impressed however with LL Beans return policy. In both cases my purchases were taken back with out question and was issued full refunds.

It's even better than I expected! I am using it in a summer home as a piece to put suitcases on top of and for guests to store their belongings in the cupboards and shelves in a twin-bedded room. Very functional at keeping the clutter corralled. It's heavy, so we put it together close to the room in now lives in.
Good color. Delivered quicker than expected. Went together easily except for slight confusion on directions of what size screw went in corner. Easy to straighten out. Seems very strong which is good for our tv. Quality seems good. Wish we could manufacture it here in USA.
