just received the jacket.wore it on a very windy day in the teens. in & out of the car and stores,plus a gas fill up. for such a "light" layer, it blocked the wind&kept me warm;i'm not a cold weather person. it fit well and was loose enough not to bind,very comfortable;as well as a very good looking jacket.
This jacket was impossible to put on. The sleeves grabbed the shirt you had and pulled them up. You had a very difficult time pulling the shirt sleeves back down. I had to return it because I could not have worn it.
Just recieved my Mountain Sport Fleece and I'm already thrilled with the product.
In part I wanted to write this review because prior to my purchase, some of the reviews on this page raised concerns about the sleeve length. Now that I have the jacket in my possession, it is worth noting that there is no noticeable difference between the sleeve length of this garment and other LL Bean products I have ordered (usually a L Tall in my case).
As noted by others, this is not a heavy weight fleece. But that's not the design purpose of this particular piece. It's a great jacket for activities out on the trail. I'm looking forward to tossing this on along with the the snowshoes!
Considering the technical aspects and design on this jacket - you just can't go wrong at the current price point!
