I find the jacket works well for my winter runs in the cold. It is the perfect weight as long as you are moving. I wouldn't recommend for cold temps if you are going to be stationary unless you are wearing it as a layer. I ordered the tall and the sleeves do seem to be a bit longer than usual but work for me. If you are on the border between a tall or regular you might want to try the regular first. The fit is also more trim than other jackets which works well if you are going to be using it for outdoor sports. I would give it a 5 if it had a pocket specifically for an iPod as it is marketed for outdoor sports. The outside chest pocket works ok but the cable kinda of gets in the way some but that is a very minor issue.
If you want something light and keeps you warm on a windy cold day this is the one! I bought this as a gift for my nephew and he loves it! Does not look bulky at all and he likes the long sleeves
