This coat is fantastic! I've worn it four different times now. I wore it at 20 degrees with a thick sweater underneath and still had lots of room to move and didn't get cold at all when the wind tried to blow me down. The other three times have been running- 9, 16, and 25 degrees. All the times I've only had a wicking tank-top underneath- I didn't get cold once and when I was sweating the wicking of the coat kept me from getting chilled from sweat. I'm, without a doubt, buying another one exclusively for running in the winter.
I bought a size small. I'm 5'8" and 135-140lbs. I usually wear a 4/6. The torso length is long enough to cover my low-rise running pants, and the sleeves are perfect- long enough without bunching at the cuffs. This coat fits like a woman's small should- tapered seams down the sides. It's not boxy like a typical Bean coat! Note: I had to exchange the wind challenger and warm-up jackets for an extra small because they were huge boxes in the torso... I love this coat and would recommend it to everyone who is active!
I am very happy with this jacket. It fits very well, is very comfortable, and is nice and warm. I have worn it constantly since I received it a couple of weeks ago.
The "Woman's Mountain Sport Fleece Jacket" has quickly become a favorite of my 13-year-old daughter. She loves its color (a beautiful blue), its plush softness, its warmth and fit. It's not every day that we can agree so heartily on clothes!
I ordered this jacket in several colors for myself and gave a couple as gifts. We all love the colors and the fit. (True to size.) The material is soft, yet does a decent job repelling rain. It's warm enough alone in temps of 40-50s, and adds great additional warmth under my coat for temps in the teens. The two-tone colors have a slimming affect. The multiple zippered pockets are great for carrying keys, phone, etc. It's simply a GREAT Jacket!!
