I recently received this mountain sport jacket in a large, my normal size. I loved the look of the jacket, and it's extremely warm and breatheable for being so lightweight. However, it was a snug fit compared to most of LL Bean's size "large" jackets. I exchanged it for an XL, and it is better, but a little too roomy. I wanted to be able to run in this jacket, and it's perfect for exercising and running, as the moisture wicking is excellent. I like the colors and it washes well too.
Fits great without being bulky and moves with you. It does keep out the wind! I would love to see this product with pit zips to make it an even better peice of techware.
I love the fitted style with the slightly drop-tailed hem in back. The teal color is really lovely! I wear it a lot, and it washed up perfectly. I only wish the pockets were fleece for warmth; that would earn a fifth star.
Even though it is bitter cold and windy this jacket has kept me warm during my daily runs. I often will wear it over the fitness fleece on very cold days for another layer. Neither fleece is heavy or bulky. Running is very comfortable. Great job LLBean. You have made a great product.
