Just bought this to watch my daughter ice skate during the summer months. What a nice coat. It fit's snug, but I can still fit a long sleeve T underneath. The fabric is soft and it looks beautiful. Wish I had an excuse to have one in another color.
I got this jacket to wear for Spring cross country skiing. We had a very early Spring and I wasn't able to use it for that purpose, but it has been great for a light take along jacket for errands and around town. It has a very nice fit and looks better than a sweatshirt.
This is a great jacket and a great deal. The weight of the fleece will be perfect for fall and walking to class. I was a little concerned about the size because L.L. Bean's clothes tend to run a little big on me. I'm 5'6" and 114 lbs, and the XS fits really well. It's loose enough that I can wear a t-shirt or snug-fitting long-sleeved shirt under it, but it's not so small that it will restrict movement. I like more of an athletic fit rather than a loose fit though - someone who wants to wear more layers under it should just go with their regular size. The sleeve length is fine.
I love the jacket. It is so comfortable and warm..not bulky at all. You can easily wear it under another coat if you need to. I received my purchase in 2 days...couldn't be happier with the service and product.
