It is soft and warm and the fit is perfect. I find that a lot of Bean's clothing runs large. This does not. I wear an extra small and this jacket is true to size.
In general I liked this fleece, it seems like it will be very warm and because it stretches would be great for being active in cooler weather. The thing I did not like was the pattern on the sides. You can't really see it in the photos, but there is a hatch pattern on the stretchy sides. I ordered the green and the hatching was too prominent for my liking. Maybe it is not as noticeable in some of the other colors. If you want a nice warm, comfortable fleece this is probably good for you, but I really just did not like the patterned sides.
I really wanted to keep this jacket. It's very sleek and sporty looking, and I like that it's fitted. I'm 5'3, 128 lbs., 34D and tried both a Small and a Medium in both the jacket and the vest. The Small fit fine as I rarely wear heavy sweaters or layers. And I love the black coffee color, looks great with jeans and a tee for hanging out or with sweat pants and a tank for a brisk jog. Unfortunately, it's just a tad too long for my taste (both in body and sleeves). Please make more of your items available in Petite! And I'd love to see more of the Mountain Red color available in women's selections, not just men's.
