I recently ordered the Mountain Sport Fleece Jacket for both myself and my 13-year-old daughter. (I had purchased one from L.L Bean several years ago; it provided me with MANY years of excellent service and had more than earned its "retirement"). My daughter and I are extremely pleased with the fit, styling, warmth and comfort of our 2010 models. I would have preferred fabric pockets similar to those in my old jacket rather than the mesh pockets that this new edition features; however, this is my only complaint (and a vey minor one at that).
Great jacket, perfect transitional weight for spring (and I suspect will be for fall also). Glad I went up a size and ordered a Large, as it is very fitted and think the Medium would have been too tight. Good quality jacket.
This fleece is much thinner and not nearly as warm as I expected it to be. It works well as a layer and will be good as a spring/fall jacket. I got it on sale so I'm not that disappointed, if I had paid full price I would have sent it back.
