I followed the recommedations of others with other style coats and I did purchase one size larger. The coat is the best warmth for an east coast winter. I wore it during a blizzard and any place that wasn't covered by the coat was cold. A light sweater is all one needs to increase the warmth factor.

Before purchasing this coat I read many of the reviews. I have absolutely no regrets getting this coat. I wanted something that was long and would keep me warm and dry. I have no problems with the position of the buttons at the top of the coat. If it is really cold or windy all you need to do is add a scarf. I normally wear a small and after reading the reviews I ordered a medium and the fit is great. Also the length of the zipper seemed a concern - since I am a petite size, the zipper is not an issue. If I were a very tall person it may be too short. I love the coat and it met all my expectations and more.

I was skeptically about ordering this coat based on other reviews. But i wish i had just ordered it earlier! It is warm, light, WASHABLE and extremely comfortable!! I live in Texas and its perfect for super cold days. If you aren't sure about it take my word for it, it's a great coat!!!
