Very comfortable and attractive! I found this coat to be true to size. The 2-way zipper works fine and allows me to reach into my pants pockets while driving. Definitely not for bitter cold winter weather as toggle closure does not provide wind protection around the neck area and the pockets are not deep enough to warm hands but plenty warm for fall and spring. The fabric is soft and easy care.
This coat feels light weight when you pick it up but it is very warm. I read other reviews then ordered a size up as many suggested. I normally wear a small or extra small but got the medium. It is perfect and still very comfortable with a heavy sweater underneath. I have received many compliments on this coat. I notice someone saying it looked cheap. I really do not agree. I love the coat.
I have looked for a durable dress coat for about 2 years and not been pleased with instore options. Most black coats are wool and everything clings to the material as well as my hair . I love this fabric for that reason. As for the zipper, it is difficult to match them up because the material is thick. It serves the purpose, however of being able to loosen up the bottom when you sit. (eg driving is no struggle in this long jacket.) I am 5'7" (120 lbs) with super long arms. I purchased the SM. The arm length is almost too short for me, but the sleeves can be cuffed a little for someone more petite in length. This coat has plenty of room and is as dressy as it is flirty. It can be down played and up played in style. Love it.
My husband bought me this coat in XL and it fits perfectly. I love the lines, the two-way zipper, and the hood. The fabric is great, and fully washable. This is my second faux shearling item, and I love them both. Only little issue is a gap at the neck that lets the wind blow in. A bit of flap behind the toggle would be nice.
