ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
The faux shearling coat that I recently purchased from LL Bean was great in our recent frigid temps in Michigan. I believe there needs to be another toggle about 5" below the bottom one in order to keep the cold breezes from coming in, as well as another one about 3" above the top one in order to keep the hood closed more snugly.
Granted, the cold snap we are having this week does work with this coat. But for temps in the 20's and up, it is cozy and warm. I did get the larger size, and it works well over sweaters. I don't mind the zipper configuration, as I wear a bulky scarf. Haven't tried washing it yet - trying to stay away from the salt on the car. I feel quite natty wearing it :-)

Great value, and nice style... long & comfy; the two-way zipper makes it easy getting in & out of the car. I don't understand the comments about wishing the zipper went higher; not sure how high they'd want it?! It exceeded my expectations, and the fit is fine. (I worried it ran small after seeing other comments, but it fits like other Bean garments) All in all, very satisfied!
