I was disappointed in this coat as the zipper only comes have way up the body. After that there is one toggle button at the neck but it does not close the coat tight. There is a big gap. I will be returning it for a refund. What good is a winter coat that doesn't adequately cover the chest?

Great Long Coat

This coat is really pretty (I got the chocolate brown). I love the length (I am only 5'4", and it comes to the middle of my shins). I wish the zipper came up higher, and that it was a little heavier, but overall I am very happy with my purchase. People are always commenting on how nice it looks, and it keeps me warm while walking all 6 of my dogs (which is why I bought it) and it also lets me move freely. I got the large and it fits perfectly (I am 125 lbs.) over bulky sweaters.
I wanted a casual coat, a cozy coat and this one fit the bill. Really pay attention to the sizing - so many reviewers cannot be wrong. It runs small. I normally wear a medium but I bought an XL in this coat because I really wanted a roomy, oversize "cozy coat." If I wanted it to fit, I would have definitely needed an L. It definitely keeps you warm in very cold weather and looks nice but not like a real shearling - sorry. The outside may look somewhat close to the real thing, but the inside/seams/tufts at sleeve get a bit nappy and definitely don't look like the real thing at all. But it is definitely value for the money, no regrets.
I think this particular garment is made incorrectly, sizewise. I ordered a large based on recommendations by other reviewers. While it fit through the shoulders it was way too large everywhere else. Subsequently, it was returned. The one positive note is that it is very warm.
