I read the reviews about this coat running small in size and tight in shoulders and arms ... I found that not true at all! I found it generous in size! I did find the zipper is not really easy to use. Overall, it is a nice coat and a real bargain at the current clearance price!
This is a lovely coat. The double zipper is quite funky and at first I thought it was damaged. Finally got it to work properly. I bought it a size larger than usual and am glad I did so. I like to wear bulky sweaters and turtle necks in the winter. A medium would not have accomodated my particular style. Overall, a very nice coat with a difficult/funky double zipper.
Material is cheap and thin - this has not kept me warm in 40 degree weather, or in low wind, so don't expect it to keep you warm in harsher conditions. Not worth the actual price - the only reason I kept it is because I got it on clearance.
I ordered this a week or so ago, and unfortunately the comments about the shoulder and arm sizing are all true! This coat is too tight across the shoulder area and the arms are way too narrow for a coat. Additionally, the "cut" though the bust is somewhat form fitting and, well, if your form doesn't fit in it, it is very unflattering! I tired this on over what I would normally wear in the winter -- a fleece top -- and ended up looking like I was in a brown teepee.
Combine all this will the finicky zipper, and a definite no-go.
